A 15-year-old teenager was seriously injured after a collision involving a moped and a vehicle in Les Cèdres early Sunday morning, and Quebec provincial police are seeking witnesses.
The Sûreté du Québec said an automobilist found the teenager seriously injured with a damaged moped on the side of Chemin du Canal, also known as Route 338, around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
The collision occurred between Chemin St-Féréol and Chemin St-Dominique, police said.
The teenager was taken to hospital in serious condition.
The SQ's Major Crimes Investigation Team in Vaudreuil-Dorion is asking anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. Investigators are also looking for anyone who may have seen a vehicle in the area with damage that could be consistent with a collision involving a moped.
