Gordon County Grand Jury returned indictments on the following people on Aug. 13. This process formally charges the individual, but the individual remains innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Austin Lane Jordan -- Aggravated assault - Family Violence Act, third degree cruelty to children.
Deborah Ann Jackson -- First degree cruelty to children (x2), simple battery (x2).
Franklin Solar Rivera -- Terroristic threats (x3).
Travon Deaundre Underwood -- Unlawful acts of violence in penal institution, obstruction of an officer (x2), simple battery.
Ramses Ernesto Valenzuela -- Rape, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, child molestation (x2), influencing a witness.
Matthew Allen Pickens -- Felony Murder, first degree homicide by vehicle, serious injury by vehicle, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving under the influence of a controlled substance, DUI - drugs, reckless driving, speeding.
Douglas Frank Moore -- Simple assault.
William Steven McLemore -- Second degree criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, simple battery.
Anthony Lee McMichen -- Aggravated assault, discharge of gun near highway.
Darius Charon Moody -- Second degree criminal damage to property, simple battery.
Jaden Christopher Lott -- Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, speeding, improper lane change, reckless driving, improper display of license plate.
Austin Lee -- Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, failure to maintain lane, stop sign violation, speeding, wrong side of road, reckless driving, use of license plate to conceal identity.
Alisha Tamara Moore -- Providing false information regarding sexual offender, obstruction of an officer.
Autavious Trevon Macon -- Aggravated assault, battery.
Donna Ann Myers -- Aggravated assault (x2).
William Case McCowen -- Aggravated assault, third degree cruelty to children.
William Brandon McEntyre -- False imprisonment, battery - FVA, simple battery.
David Alexander Leonard -- Aggravated assault, false imprisonment, battery - FVA, third degree cruelty to children.
Joshua Matthew McClure -- Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, DUI, speeding (x2), failure to maintain lane (x2), stop sign violation, no headlights/turn signal, reckless driving, open container.
