THOMSON, Ga. (WFXG) - The Attorney General's Human Trafficking and Gang Prosecution Units executed simultaneous raids in McDuffie and Lincoln counties in connection with an ongoing human trafficking and gang investigation.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, McDuffie County Sheriff's Office, Thomson Police Department, Columbia County Sheriff's Office, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, and Richmond County Sheriff's Office all worked in coordination with this case.
The following individuals were taken into custody without incident.
- Larry James Mance (58) of Thomson, Georgia
- Shawanna Brown Mance (47) of Augusta, Georgia
- Christopher Jerome Carter (48) of Thomson, Georgia
- John Peyton Norman (33) of Lincolnton, Georgia
- Robert Richard Vantassell (31) of Thomson, Georgia
