MISSOULA, Mont. — Missoula firefighters said they quickly put out a brush fire at an unhoused encampment behind City Lodge, stopping it from spreading.

Helena, Mont. — Helena city leaders moved a step closer to asking voters to approve new funding aimed at expanding police and fire services.

KALISPELL, Mont. – The City of Kalispell said firefighters and police were responding to a “large” fire at the O’Neil Lumber Yard near the bypass and Foys Lake Road.

After Hungry Horse’s Fourth of July festivities, dozens of families from Glacier Bible Camp helped clean up the town early the next morning, leaving streets cleared before the Hungry Horse Volunteer Fire Department responded to a 7:30 a.m. call, according to the department.
