Mizzou women’s golf ended the second day of the NCAA Championship in 13th place. The Tigers started the day in sixth before falling out of the top 10 after shooting 7 over Saturday.

Mizzou is one stroke behind Florida and Northwestern and two behind Eastern Michigan and Arizona State. The Tigers are two strokes ahead of Pepperdine who sits in 14th at 9 over. The team is 19 strokes behind first-overall Stanford.

Ebba Liljeberg is the top Tiger on the leaderboard, tied for 38th place at 1 over par. Liljeberg struggled by shooting 2 over on the front nine before bouncing back at 1 under on the back nine.

Melanie Walker and Jade Zamora are tied for 46th along with 16 other golfers at 2 over. After shooting an even par on Day 1, Addie Dobson has dropped to tied for 64th after shooting 3 over on Day 2. Fleur van Beek rounds out the team tied for 116th at 7 over despite shooting even on Day 1.

The Tigers look to work their way back into the top 10 on Day 3 of the NCAA Championship on Sunday in Carlsbad, California.
