VIVIAN, La. -- Two Vivian men have been arrested after investigators say they exchanged gunfire during an argument at a Vivian apartment complex, damaging several vehicles but causing no injuries.

The shooting happened Thursday at an apartment complex in the 100 block of Williamson Way, according to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

Vivian police responded to reports of gunfire and requested assistance from Caddo sheriff's deputies.

Investigators determined that Cardarrio Watson, 35, and James Brown, 26, both of Vivian, were arguing before they allegedly fired weapons at one another.

No one was injured, but multiple vehicles were struck by gunfire, authorities said.

Following the investigation, both were arrested and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.

Watson and Brown each are charged with one count of aggravated criminal damage to property and one count of illegal use of weapons.
