BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — Controlled detonations will be conducted by Explosive Ordnance Disposal Airmen assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing at Barksdale Air Force Base as part of planned demolition operations tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
During this time frame, members of the public and the surrounding community may hear loud noises associated with these detonations. These activities are pre-planned, professionally executed, and pose no threat to public safety. Base officials said they appreciate the community’s understanding as they conduct these necessary operations.
