BOSSIER CITY, La. - Some Bossier City residents in the Savannah Place area are advised to boil water.
The city released a boil precautionary boil advisory for customers near Savannah Place Circle East, Gaston Lane, Gaston Circle, Broughton Circle, Wilkins Lane, Harmon Lane, Jordan Drive, Linnhurst Drive and Bloomington Lane.
The advisory was issued when a vehicle struck a fire hydrant at Savannah Place Circle which affected an eight-inch water main.
Customers should boil water for at least one minute until the advisory is rescinded.
