SHREVEPORT, La. — Calumet Inc. will show appreciation for local first responders Thursday by serving them a complimentary hot lunch across three parishes.
The company will host first responders from Bossier, Caddo, and Webster parishes from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at five area facilities.
First responders can pick up meals at the following locations:
Shreveport Refinery, 3333 Midway St.
Shreveport Packaging, 10411 Highway 1
Shreveport Distribution, 7540 W. Bert Kouns Industrial Loop
Princeton Plant, 10234 Highway 157
Cotton Valley Plant, 1756 Old Highway 7
This marks the fourth consecutive year Calumet has organized the event. Company officials said they served more than 500 first responders last year and expect a similar turnout this year.
"This is another way we proudly support the first responders serving and protecting our communities," said Mike Achacoso, senior vice president of operations. "Calumet is committed to good corporate citizenship through volunteer service, sponsorship, and meaningful community engagement. This event gives our team an opportunity to thank first responders face-to-face and reinforce the relationships that matter across Northwest Louisiana."
