BOSSIER CITY, La. - Bossier City got a fresh taste of world-class Asian cuisine last week as Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana officially debuted its reimagined pan-Asian restaurant, Luk Fu by Jet Tila.

The updated menu made its debut on Thursday, celebrating a partnership announced earlier this spring with the renowned chef, Food Network star, and Iron Chef competitor. Tila — a James Beard Award nominee and Emmy-nominated television personality — brings decades of culinary expertise to the Bossier City property, blending traditional Asian flavors with modern techniques.

The transformation combines Tila’s signature creations alongside fan favorites already loved by local diners. Guests can look forward to menu additions like Jet’s Shrimp Pad Thai, Sweet Heat Chicken Wings, Bao Bun, and Thai Pineapple Fried Rice.

Dorothy Marshall, director of food and beverage marketing for Cordish Gaming, says the pineapple fried rice is her top recommendation for anyone visiting the restaurant.

"It is so refreshing and brings a fun twist to that fried rice that you're used to," Marshall said. "And the flavor chef brings to every dish is just out of this world. You taste it; it melts in your mouth."

While the restaurant's official "New Era of Flavor" debut dinner event was sold out, local fans also had an opportunity to meet the culinary star when Live! hosted a public "Sip & Sign" event at the property's Center Bar last Thursday night. Attendees were able to meet Tila, grab headshots, and purchase autographed cookbooks onsite at Shop Live!

Rob Esplen, senior vice president of food and beverage at Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana, noted that the updated concept adds rich new dimensions to the property's dining offerings.

"The exclusive menu works so well because it combines Chef Tila’s new signature dishes with fan-favorites that guests have always loved at Luk Fu," Esplen said. "The menu has more depth and flavor, and guests are going to sit down to an unforgettable meal every time they visit."
