MANSFIELD, La. - DeSoto Parish Schools will welcome students back to campus on Aug. 6 for the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.
District leaders encourage parents across all attendance zones, including North DeSoto, Mansfield, Logansport and Stanley, to prepare for upcoming back-to-school activities.
All campuses will host an open house event on Monday. Families can visit classrooms, meet teachers, and receive campus-specific schedules.
Parents can track student academic progress through the JCampus Student mobile application throughout the year.
School handbooks, supply lists, and staggered start schedules for prekindergarten and kindergarten students are available on the district website at desotopsb.com.
DeSoto Parish Schools provides all required classroom supplies at no cost to families.
