STONEWALL, La - DeSoto Parish Schools is asking community members to help preserve the rich history of local schools and the parish by contributing historic photographs for a special art project celebrating the area’s educational heritage.
District officials recently announced a community-wide effort to collect photographs that capture the story of DeSoto Parish
Schools and the generations of students, educators, and families who have helped shape the parish over the years.
The project aims to showcase the people, places, and moments that have played a role in the history of local education and the broader community.
School officials are encouraging residents to search through family photo albums, scrapbooks, and storage boxes for images that reflect life in DeSoto Parish schools through the decades.
