SHREVEPORT, La. - The Shreveport Police Department is searching for the person they say killed a man in the city's Fox Crossing neighborhood Saturday night.
This started when two brothers got into an argument inside a home at 6212 N. Windermere Drive around 11:20 pm.
After the argument moved outside, family members told police they heard a single gunshot.
When Shreveport Police Officers arrived at the scene they found one brother on the lawn unconscious with a gunshot wound to his stomach. The other brother had left the scene.
The victim was taken to Ochsner LSU Health, where he died from his injuries.
The suspect is described as a black man, 5'9" and 155lbs. He is reportedly wearing a hoodie.
A drone unit was called to the scene to help with the search.
