BLANCHARD, La. - Caddo deputies arrested a Haughton firefighter after he allegedly pulled a gun on his girlfriend's father during an argument.
According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, Jesse Nitz, 20, got into a verbal altercation Sunday afternoon with his girlfriend's father in the 8800 block of Old Mooringsport Road.
Deputies learned Nitz removed a handgun from his holster and pointed it at the victim. The victim and his son were able to disarm and subdue Nitz until deputies arrived.
Nitz was taken into custody for one count of aggravated assault with a firearm and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
