WASHINGTON - Rick Rowe recently returned from Washington, D.C., where he joined nearly 50 ArkLaTex residents in celebrating America's upcoming 250th birthday.
During the trip, the group visited the World War II Memorial to honor the men and women from the ArkLaTex who served during the war.
Rick remembers their service in this week's Hometown Patriot.
