SHREVEPORT, La. - A man was arrested after Shreveport police helped the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office locate a stolen trailer in Shreveport.
Police say the trailer was stolen from Haughton on Aug. 19 and was later tracked to a storage facility on East Bert Kouns.
Detectives obtained a search warrant and found the trailer inside a storage unit associated with 37-year-old Joshua Oakes. The trailer's license plate had also been removed.
Detectives waited for the owner to recover the trailer. Oakes later arrived at the scene and was taken into custody.
Oakes was charged with illegal possession of stolen things.
