NATCHITOCHES, La. — Natchitoches police have arrested three suspects, including a 17-year-old, in connection with a string of overnight vehicle burglaries.
Officers responding to a suspicious activity call on Nettie Street just after midnight caught one suspect in the act, while two others fled the scene. Investigators quickly identified and apprehended the remaining suspects.
A fourth individual, Linda Simmons, was also arrested and charged with improper supervision of a juvenile and resisting arrest.
Authorities stated the investigation remains active and additional arrests are possible as detectives review further evidence from the incidents.
