NATCHITOCHES, La. — Two Natchitoches teenagers have been arrested and multiple stolen items recovered following a string of burglaries in the city's Historic District.
Natchitoches police booked 18-year-old Kurstine Harrison and 18-year-old Dan White on six counts of simple burglary. Officers responding to Second Street on August 7 established a perimeter, quickly capturing Harrison after a brief foot chase.
Following a joint operation with the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office, investigators executed search warrants on August 10, locating White inside a residence. Authorities recovered stolen property, including two firearms. Both suspects are being held in the local detention center.
