SHREVEPORT, La. — A former Captain Shreve and Calvary football player is at the center of an legal battle between Ole Miss and LSU.

According to a lawsuit filed by Ole Miss, former Rebels offensive lineman Devin Harper, now at LSU, is being sued for $400,000 for allegedly violating a revenue-sharing agreement signed before transferring. The university claims Harper agreed to return to the team but entered the transfer portal days later.

Ole Miss maintains the contracts included financial penalties for players who left before fulfilling their commitments to the program.
