CLARENCE, La. — Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's deputies assisted a passenger from a vehicle that became stranded in a water-filled ditch on Greenville Drive in Clarence Saturday morning.
According to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office, heavy rainfall caused flooding in low-lying areas of the roadway. Deputy C. Matheny responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
A Flood Warning remains in effect for portions of Natchitoches, Sabine, Red River, De Soto and Grant parishes.
