SHREVEPORT, La. — The City of Shreveport has issued a voluntary boil advisory for portions of the Cherokee Park area following a water main break that caused a loss of pressure.
While repairs are complete, the advisory remains in place as a precaution while officials conduct water quality testing. Affected areas include Mayfair, Arncliffe, Crestmoor, and several surrounding streets. Residents are advised to boil water used for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth.
