BOSSIER CITY, La. — One of the ArkLaTex’s premier summer traditions returns this weekend as the 10th annual Delta Utilities Red River Balloon Rally takes flight at Louisiana Downs.
The two-day event will feature hot air balloon launches, live music, fireworks, and nightly balloon glows. Competitors will also vie for the Louisiana State Ballooning Championship title. New for this year’s anniversary, organizers have added a special Xfinity drone show celebrating North Louisiana.
The rally takes place Friday and Saturday at Louisiana Downs, with gates opening at 5 p.m. both days. Tickets and event information are available online.
