SHREVEPORT, La. - A Shreveport Police officer was arrested Saturday for DWI after being pulled over for speeding.
Shreveport Police conducted a traffic stop on Line Avenue and identified the driver as Gregory Blue. Blue has been a Shreveport Police officer since 2019.
Chief Wayne Smith placed Blue on leave later that morning.
"Our responsibility to the public requires us to remain transparent. Impaired driving is dangerous, and every individual will be held to the same standard," said Smith.
