SHREVEPORT, La. — Students from across the country have concluded a summer of intensive scientific research at LSU Health Shreveport.

Medical and undergraduate participants spent the season working alongside faculty researchers in campus laboratories, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare and science. The program helps students develop professional skills, build networks, and contribute to ongoing studies.

The session concluded with a poster session where faculty judges evaluated projects and selected top performers. University officials say these summer initiatives provide valuable real-world experience, helping students explore future careers in medicine and scientific research.
