BOSSIER CITY, La. — Bossier City officials are advising drivers to prepare for a temporary road closure on Shady Grove Boulevard starting Friday to accommodate roadway construction.
The work is expected to take about six days, depending on the weather.
During the closure, westbound drivers leaving Shady Grove Boulevard will need to use one of two detour routes:
Option 1:
Turn right onto Glen Street
Left onto Cove Street
Left onto Parkway Drive
Right onto Shady Grove Drive
Option 2:
Turn left onto Glen Street
Right onto Lark Street
Right onto Parkway Drive
Left onto Shady Grove Drive
City officials encourage motorists to give themselves extra travel time, exercise caution in the area, and pay close attention to all posted detour signs and traffic control equipment. The city thanks the public for its patience and cooperation while these road improvements are being made.
