TEXARKANA, Texas — Some Texarkana residents are under a boil water notice following a sudden loss of water pressure in part of the city.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality issued the mandatory notice for Texarkana Water Utilities customers located south of West 15th Street and west of South State Line. Officials report the advisory will remain in effect until laboratory testing confirms the water is safe for consumption.
Residents in the affected zone are advised to boil tap water for at least one minute prior to drinking or cooking until further notice.
