TEXARKANA, Texas - The Texarkana Texas Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash this weekend.

This happened Saturday afternoon around 4:40 P.M. at the intersection of Main and W. 41st Streets.

The department's traffic investigators said preliminary findings show that a 15-year-old unlicensed driver was going northbound at a high rate of speed on Main Street when he ran a stop sign and hit a Toyota Sequoia that was crossing the intersection from W. 41st.

The crash caused the Toyota to rollover. Luckily, the driver of that car was not injured.

The 15-year-old's car then hit the front of a house near the intersection. There were also no injuries inside the home.

However, the 15-year-old had at least four other young people in the car with him at the time of the crash, and several of them were transported to Christus St. Michael Hospital by LifeNet. One person was airlifted to a Shreveport hospital with serious injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
