JEFFERSON, Texas- Fire crews are working to contain a wildfire in Marion County, Texas.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office says the fire is burning near the 3200 block of FM 1969 and residents may encounter heavy smoke along the roadway.
People living near Bullfrog Marina on Lake of the Pines and Lula Lane are urged to watch for smoke or flames.
The Texas A&M Forest Service and several local fire departments are on scene battling the fire.
At this time, there are no evacuation orders in effect, but authorities are asking drivers and residents to use caution in the area.
