HELENA, Mont. — Helena police were looking into a stabbing after officers found a man hurt in the 2200 block of 11th Avenue early August 13.
According to a Helena Police Department press release, officers were called to the area at about 1:26 a.m. and found an adult man who was bleeding heavily. Medics treated him at the scene and took him to St. Peter's Health [link] with life-threatening injuries, where he was later stabilized.
Detectives began investigating because of how serious the man's injuries were. Police said they interviewed witnesses and others who may have been involved in what led up to the incident.
No arrests had been made. Police said detectives were still working to figure out exactly what happened.
