MISSOULA, Mont. – The Missoula Paddleheads rescheduled their final fireworks show of the 2026 season due to the stage 2 fire restrictions in place for Missoula County. The fireworks scheduled after the game on August 8, was rescheduled to September 2, as long as fire restrictions improve.

Individual ticket buyers for the August 8 game will be given a free ticket to the September 2 game, and be able to attend both games. Tickets will be emailed by August 20.

The Paddleheads team expressed early in the week that a fireworks display would not be possible due to the reports of fires throughout the state. After reaching out to the local fire department, the fire department confirmed Missoula as in stage 2 restrictions starting August 7.

“The PaddleHeads would like to express our appreciation for all of the fire fighters working the many fires in our region. Our thoughts and prayers also  go out to all the families impacted by these fires,” said Paddleheads president Matt Ellis, after confirmation of the restrictions and praise for the communication and assistance from the MIssoula Fire Department.

The Paddleheads also announced that anyone who hasn’t purchased a ticket yet and does so by August 8, those ticket buyers will also receive a ticket for the game on September 2 at no additional cost, as a thank you to the fans and community.

Ticket purchases can be made at the Paddleheads website, or by visiting the box office.
