BUTTE, Mont. - A 13-year-old boy who was hurt on a carnival ride at the Butte Civic Center on June 7 has died.
Butte-Silver Bow Law Enforcement reports the teen died from the injuries Sunday evening at a hospital in Kalispell.
The teen was hurt after falling from the YO-YO carnival ride and all rides were stopped out of an abundance of caution.
State law regulating amusement rides in Montana have the ride closed until an investigation by a qualified inspector.
At this time an investigation into the original accident is still ongoing.
