MPD said officers found the woman dead inside the vehicle and later determined she was not killed in Memphis.

The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) identified the woman as 50-year-old Lanessa Bradford.

BRPD said Brazille drove through several states before Memphis police stopped him.

Brazille was taken into custody in Memphis. He is awaiting extradition to Baton Rouge, where he will face a murder charge.
