(KTEN) — The heat has been out in full force, and some locations across Texoma have either broken or tied records set more than three decades ago.
Sulphur, Burneyville, Ada, Madill, and Duncan all broke their previous records by one or two degrees, while Ardmore and Waurika both tied their respective records.
So what about the records for the rest of the week, specifically in Sherman?
While Sherman hasn’t broken or tied any of its records so far this year, the rest of the week looks to have some close calls as temperatures soar into the triple digits.
Thursday could see Sherman breaking or tying a record that was set just three years ago in 2023.
