REFUGIO – St. James Catholic Church will host a Back to School Bingo event on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Padilla Hall, offering food, raffle drawings and more than $1,800 in Bingo winnings.
Doors will open at 1 p.m., with Bingo beginning at 2 p.m.
Bingo packets will cost $25 at the door.
Attendees also will be able to purchase a $10 lunch with two choices. One option will include a carne guisada bowl, tortilla, cookie and drink. The other will include a hamburger or cheeseburger, chips, cookie and drink.
Organizers said Bingo winnings will total more than $1,800 during the event.
Winners of the St. James raffle also will be announced during intermission.
