Williamson County celebrated the completion of the Legacy Ranch Drive project in Liberty Hill with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, Aug. 21.
The Legacy Ranch Drive project, formerly known as the CR 258 project, constructed and expanded 0.6 miles of roadway from Seward Junction North Loop (CR 258/CR 260) to the CR 258 extension. The project included two new traffic signals, pavement overlay and new right-turn lanes in Liberty Hill ISD’s Legacy Ranch High School.
“It’s always exciting to cut the ribbon on our road projects. Making Legacy Ranch Drive safer for students, staff and faculty driving to the new Legacy Ranch High School was an important investment for Williamson County,” said Precinct 2 Commissioner Cynthia Long. “I want to thank our partners at Liberty Hill ISD for helping us work on this project. I also want to thank the Commissioners Court for consistently supporting projects in Precinct 2, and the voters who voice their support for road improvements through our bond program.”
American Structurepoint was the design engineer, and Joe Bland Construction served as the project contractor. The project cost $1.4 million and was funded by the voter-approved 2023 WilCo Road Bond.
