A major search is underway for two young children who are believed to have been abducted by their babysitter, according to the City of Atlanta Police Department.

Zola Cooper, 4, and her 11-month-old sister, Norah Cooper, were last known to be in the area of Jones Avenue Northwest and James P. Brawley Drive Northwest. Their babysitter, Lakesha Brown, is believed to be involved in the abduction.

Investigators believe the children may be traveling in a 2009 white Ford F-350 pickup truck with Alabama tag IC087Y4.

Zola Cooper is described as a Black girl who is 3 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 42 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was last known to be wearing a multicolored dress.

Norah Cooper is described as a Black girl who is 2 feet tall and weighs about 28 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was last known to be wearing a pink onesie. Norah is missing her index and middle fingers on her right hand.
