Archer Daniels Midland Company ADM has seen its shares gain 20.6% in the past six months, outperforming the industry’s growth of 1.3%. The stock has also outperformed the S&P 500 index, which gained 13.4% during the same period and the Consumer Staples sector, which fell 2.8%.

Archer Daniels’ shares have risen as investors have gained greater confidence in its earnings recovery. Stronger oilseed processing margins, robust soybean crushing performance and healthy biofuel demand have supported profitability. The company has also benefited from greater clarity around U.S. biofuel policies and improved economics for ethanol and biodiesel. Meanwhile, better performance across its business segments, stronger execution and an upgraded 2026 earnings outlook have boosted investor sentiment further.
