Fidelity Blue Chip Growth Fund FBGRX and Fidelity Growth Company Fund FDGRX, two of Fidelity’s Large Cap Growth mutual fund offerings, have delivered strong gains in 2026, helped in part by their exposure to SpaceX. FBGRX has advanced 15.8% year to date, while FDGRX has climbed 22.2%. Both funds have held SpaceX positions, giving shareholders indirect exposure to the privately held aerospace company’s rapidly increasing valuation.

The SpaceX investment has become increasingly significant as the company’s valuation has soared. As of June 30, 2026, SpaceX represented about 4.8% of FBGRX’s assets, while FDGRX also maintained a sizable position of 4.3%. This underscores how Fidelity’s early investment has created an additional source of growth beyond their public-market holdings.
