Infleqtion, Inc. INFQ reported second-quarter 2026 non-GAAP net loss of $11.82 million, wider than the net loss of $6.1 million in the year-ago quarter.
Revenues jumped 116% year over year to $12.6 million and topped the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 23.6%. Growth was entirely organic and quantum-driven, led primarily by execution on NASA's Quantum Gravity Gradiometer program. Remaining performance obligations, or RPOs, rose to $21 million.
INFQ's Revenue Growth Leans on U.S. Programs
About 92% of second-quarter revenues came from the United States, up roughly 10 percentage points from the prior-year period. Around 80% of revenues came from the U.S. government and agencies, highlighting the importance of public-sector programs to the quarter.
NASA's Quantum Gravity Gradiometer program was the main growth driver. Infleqtion is developing the pathfinder toward a quantum gravity sensor for orbit and is also seeing potential terrestrial applications for gravity sensing, including critical-mineral mapping.

Infleqtion Advances Its Computing Roadmap
INFQ remains on track to demonstrate 30 logical qubits on its Sqale quantum computer in 2026. The company has defined customer workloads in finance, energy and precision medicine, and management said all three engagements are revenue-generating. To reach the milestone, INFQ is targeting fewer than 10 physical qubits per logical qubit and atom-retention loss below about 2% during gate operations.
The company is also under contract to deploy a neutral-atom quantum computer at the Illinois Quantum & Microelectronics Park in 2027. The system, integrated with NVIDIA NVQLink, is designed to scale through modular upgrades to more than 50 logical qubits on the path toward a 100-logical-qubit goal.
INFQ's Commercial Reach Expands Beyond Computing
Eaton is using private-cloud access to Sqale, the Superstaq compiler and Infleqtion's quantum software capabilities to explore energy applications. INFQ was also selected for three Department of Energy Genesis Mission projects spanning AI, nuclear applications and quantum sensing.
In sensing, Tiqker optical atomic clocks are being sold with support from Safran's global channels, and the company has secured a satellite design win. Quantum Spectrum is drawing defense demand, while management also cited emerging commercial interest in the radio-frequency sensing architecture.
Infleqtion's Costs Rise as Investment Accelerates
GAAP operating loss widened to $30.6 million from $10.1 million a year ago. Research and development expense increased to $12.7 million from $5.3 million, while selling, general and administrative expense rose to $19.8 million from $6.3 million.
Non-GAAP operating loss was $17.0 million compared with a loss of $7.3 million in the prior-year quarter. Management said non-GAAP operating expenses increased by roughly $12 million as Infleqtion invested in headcount and technology development while absorbing public-company costs. Headcount has increased just over 25% since the start of 2026, mostly in technical roles.
INFQ Maintains Strong Liquidity
Operating cash flow was $13.2 million in the quarter. That figure included a $27.4 million temporary working-capital benefit from payroll taxes collected but not yet remitted on stock-option exercises. Excluding the timing benefit, operating cash burn was approximately $14 million.
Infleqtion ended the second quarter with $582 million in cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash and available-for-sale securities and no debt.
Infleqtion Raises Its 2026 Revenue Outlook
Management raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to approximately $43 million, supported by first-half performance and improved booking visibility. The second-half outlook assumes a more normalized geographic mix after the U.S.-heavy second quarter.
The Department of Commerce also selected Infleqtion for a letter of intent providing for up to $100 million in proposed funding following a technical review of its technology and roadmap. The proposed funding remains subject to definitive agreements and government approvals.
