Longtime Tri-Valley resident and technology professional brings hands-on STEM, AI, entrepreneurship, and life skills after-school enrichment to Livermore children
DUBLIN, Calif., Aug. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- For more than twenty years, Ms. Asna Alam has called the Tri-Valley home. During that time, she built a career in information technology, raised two children, and became actively involved in their school community. She has now decided to share her experiences and skills with children in the community through after-school education, especially at a time when technology and education are changing rapidly in a world increasingly driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Ms. Alam holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Duke University and has spent more than two decades working as an IT professional. Her interest in education grew through the educational journeys of her two teenagers and her involvement in the local community. She served as President of the PTO at her children's school and supported educational initiatives designed to help students thrive.
