September is approaching and so is a new school year. Whether a child is starting kindergarten or their last year of high school, the first day of school is a milestone to celebrate. Parents look forward to the small milestones that mark their child’s growing independence: a birthday celebration, the start of a new school year, a chance to feel part of something.
