As we continue celebrating 250 years of our nation, we should keep in mind a defining force in our country’s history and growth: immigration.

Immigration is a catalyst for America’s demographic survival, economic dominance, and cultural renewal. The story of America at 250 is, as it has always been, the story of the immigrant. As the nation continues to celebrate its semiquincentennial, the enduring promise of the American experiment relies not just on looking back at our founding principles, but on looking at who continues to build them.
