Editor’s Note: Data center news is coming at us every day. This is the first in an occasional series of stories to keep Lantern readers up to date on the big and small events of an issue that could affect every region of the state.

Louisville passed a data center pause, where a data center developer is proposing another project. More details are emerging about a hyperscale data center proposal in Mercer County. And one Kentucky think tank’s analysis argues data centers could see massive tax breaks.
