OKLAHOMA CITY — Millions more dollars have poured into an already historically expensive GOP primary race for Oklahoma governor leading up to an Aug. 25 runoff.

Campaign finance reports filed Monday with the state Ethics Commission — the first reports since the June 16 primary election — show Attorney General Gentner Drummond raised $2.47 million from individual donors and political action committees over the past two months. Drummond, a rancher from Hominy who narrowly led the Republican primary, also loaned his campaign $500,000 over that time, bringing the total amount of his personal loans to $3 million since launching his bid for governor.
