Spokane VA Medical Center prepares to resume normal operations following wildfires

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Mann-Grandstaff Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center announced on Tuesday that staff are preparing to resume standard operations at the campus, as supplies are being restocked and 27 veterans are being returned after they were evacuated to other hospitals amid the Spokane Area Fires.

“The medical center will be fully operational on Wednesday, with all clinics and services open,” a spokesperson for the medical center said. “Spokane VA’s outpatient clinics throughout the Lilac City and Spokane Valley, including the Vet Center, have remained open all week.”
