Wardle gets prison in Catherine Sorensen case

A Gallatin County judge opted not to follow a plea deal calling for probation in the case of a 57-year-old man who pleaded guilty in June to witness tampering — a case in which the defendant was originally accused of assaulting his wife, Catherine Sorensen, in 2022. Sorensen taught music at St. Mary's Catholic School in Livingston before her death in 2023 at age 55.

(The Center Square) – California Attorney General Rob Bonta and a coalition of 14 other Democratic state attorneys general secured a temporary court order blocking the U.S. Department of Education from terminating two federal school mental health grant programs.
