WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation announced a road project on U.S. Highway 191 near West Yellowstone that is expected to bring lane closures, parking limits and traffic flaggers starting in mid-July.

MDT and Pavement Maintenance Services Inc. are pausing work on the Missoula Urban Pavement Preservation project after completing chip seal and temporary markings, with final pavement markings expected in late July.

Montana Department of Transportation says patching work is scheduled for US Highway 191 in Gallatin Canyon on June 23 and 24, with traffic control, reduced speeds, and possible 10-to-15-minute delays.
