Dillard's Inc. DDS delivered a mixed second-quarter fiscal 2026 performance, with earnings comfortably surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate despite a modest revenue miss. Improving retail sales, positive comparable-store sales and gross-margin expansion supported the bottom line, while a sizable tariff refund provided an additional boost. The department-store operator also exited the quarter with more than $1.2 billion in cash and short-term investments after reducing debt.

Dillard's shares have gained 11.6% over the past three months compared with the Retail - Regional Department Stores industry's 12.1% rise.
