Former Tiger Gabi Jacobs and Hickman alum Chandler Gibbens competed on the final day of the USATF Championships on Sunday in New York.

Jacobs finished sixth in the women's discus throw with a result of 197 feet, 6 inches while Gibbens earned a 13th place finish in the men's 5,000 meter with a time of 13 minutes, 57.88 seconds. After leading the race through the first 3,600 meters, Gibbens struggled and fell 12 spots during the final 1,400.
