(The Center Square) - Arizona's Pima County is taking steps toward a temporary ban on new data centers.

Last week, in a 3-2 vote, the Pima County Board of Supervisors instructed county staff to draft a resolution that would implement a four-month moratorium on new centers. The county has not announced when the proposed temporary ban may be voted on.
